We believe young people in Kenya should not have to leave their community behind to find confidence, safety, opportunity, and the fullness of life.
An empowered community where every person — regardless of gender, age, or background — can access the resources and support they need to thrive.
What we do
Clear, practical pillars for the issues families raise every day: health, confidence, safety, leadership, and livelihoods.
Support with confidence
The strongest support starts with listening. CHAKE keeps young people and families at the center, then gives donors and partners clear ways to strengthen the work already happening on the ground.
Programs are shaped around schools, families, churches, health referrals, and community spaces in Homa Bay County.
Contributions help fund outreach materials, safe spaces, youth forums, mentorship, and program coordination.
CHAKE works across education, health, advocacy, and livelihoods so partners can support joined-up community change.
CHAKE taught me my rights and gave me the confidence to speak up. I now mentor younger girls in my village.
